Fall Ceramics THURSDAYS 3:00 - 6:00 PM. September 14th - November 9th
Learn how to throw on the potter’s wheel!
Beginners will learn to make basic forms like cylinders, bowls, and mugs on the wheel. Using colored slips and glaze, inlay, texture, and carving you will learn various ways to finish your creations.
Students with throwing experience will get
one-on-one instruction and help in developing their own personal projects.
Included in tuition: Hands on instruction from Amy Halko, 25 lbs of clay, use of studio tools and glazes, personal shelf space, bisque and glaze firings, all of the pots you make, invite to our end of semester pick up party.
All levels are welcome in these classes including teens.
Class size is limited to seven students.
